BallFields For 2007-2008 Season
From Wilson: Take Highway 301 South to first stoplight in Lucama. Klint’s Korner
will be on your right and the Fuel Dock will be on your left. Turn left onto Little Rock
Church Road. Cross railroad tracks and follow road until you reach the stop sign. At
the stop sign, Lucama Elementary School will be on your left. Turn left onto Blalock
Rock and the ballfields will be on your left.
From Wilson: Take Highway 301 South until you reach the “old” Highway 117. Turn
left onto Highway 117. You will go 1/8 of a mile before you cross a large bridge. At
the bottom of the bridge, start counting roads to the left. The road at the bottom of the
bridge will be road #1 (Frank Price Church Road). At the third road to the left, a large
brick church will be located on your left. The church has a sign in the yard that reads
“Welcome To The Town of Black Creek”. Turn left at the church onto Church Street
and follow for 1/8 mile. Lee Woodard Elementary School will be on your left. Turn left
into paved drive before you reach the school (ballfields are behind the school).
From: Wilson: Take Highway 58 North towards Nashville. After passing the
Cornerstone Bank, Food Lion, and Bojangles, turn right onto Lake Wilson Road. You
will pass Lake Wilson Reservoir on your left. Go through Dunn’s Crossroads and
continue to follow Lake Wilson Road. Please be careful as this road has several bad
curves. As you enter the Town of Elm City, you will immediately see the E.C.Y.A.A.
baseball/softball field on your right and then Elm City Elementary School on your
right.
From Highway 301 from Wilson: Take Highway 301 North from Wilson. After passing
the "Breeze Inn", get into the left hand lane. Turn left and cross over the South bound lane
of Highway 301. Follow road into Elm City. At the fork in the road (Doles Red & White
Grocery will be in the middle) go left and cross large bridge. Turn left one block before stoplight
and follow road until you reach Lake Wilson Road. The Elm City Elementary school will be
on your left. Turn left onto Lake Wilson Road and you will immediately see the ballfields
on your left.
From Wilson: Take Highway 42 West. You will pass the exit to Hunt High School
and continue as you cross over I-95. As you cross over I-95 and after going about 1/8
of a mile, you will pass a old store named “Bradshaw’s Grocery” on your right. After
passing the old store, you will turn right onto Rock Ridge School Road (150 yards
after passing Bradshaw’s Grocery). Follow Rock Ridge School Road for a 1/8 of a
mile and the school will be on left. Turn into driveway between the fire department and
the older two story home and follow drive. This drive will take you down into the "hole"
(Field
#1) and Field #2.
Saratoga Ballfields
From Wilson: Take Highway 264 East towards Greenville. Exit off at the Highway 91 Exit.
At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Highway 91 East. Follow Highway 91 East for 3 miles until
you reach the Town of Saratoga. Go through the stoplight in Saratoga and turn right at the second
road to the right. This road takes you to the ballfields. The first ballfield you will get to is Field #2.
Stay on this road and it will take you to Field #1. Field #1 is used for softball mostly.
New Hope Sports Commission Ballfields
The N.H.S.C. plays its home games at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Highway
58 North.
From Wilson: Take Highway 58 from Ward Blvd. McDonald's will be on the corner of Ward Blvd.
and Highway 58. You will pass Shingleton Funeral Home, Chesson Agency, Evergreen Graveyard, and Bojangles.
Continue through the stoplight at the junction of Highway 58 and Airport Blvd. You will go another 2 miles.
You will pass the country club on your right and another stoplight at the corner of Highway 58 North and
Packhouse Road. Continue on Highway 58 North. The ballfields will be on your right just behind New Hope
Missionary Baptists Church. Field #2 is behind the church and Field #1 is on your right as you enter the driveway.
